Lorenia Rincón has 20 years of experience translating documents between Spanish and English. Over that time, she has worked for a diverse range of clients in a variety of industries, throughout the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada and Mexico. She has served lawyers, real estate professionals, corporations, financial institutions, governments, educational institutions, international organizations, hospitals or health professionals, and conferences. While serving her clients, Ms. Rincón honed her translation and interpretation skills by working in a variety of settings and on a wide range of topics. She knows how to accurately and effectively translate legal documents, a skill that many translators do not have. She also has the requisite ability to accurately translate commercial, real estate, financial, and medical documents.  Ms. Rincón has the ability to interpret in a variety of circumstances, such as at a deposition, mediation or arbitration, and understands the protocol and procedure involved in various legal and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.

 

Ms. Rincón is a member of the Mexican Professional Association of Conference Interpreters and the American Translators Association. She also is a court certified Expert Translator at the Mexican Federal Courts. Ms. Rincón received an Associate Degree in Business Management from Brevard Community College in Florida in 1992. Ms. Rincón completed a graduate level course for foreign language teachers (for teaching English and Spanish as second languages) at the Universidad La Salle located in Cancun, Mexico. She also served as a visiting professor and external speaker at the University of Salamanca in Spain in 2000. In 2004, Ms. Rincón was appointed as a Freelance Interpreter and Translator for the Americas at the International Monetary Fund. She also continuously attends conferences for interpreters and translators in Mexico, South America, and in the United States to enhance and practice her Spanish and English translation and interpretation skills.
